Overview
Sitter is an app that connects parents with babysitters quickly and conveniently. It addresses the needs of both sides: parents want reliable and secure care for their children, while babysitters prioritize proximity and fair pay. The app’s active community ensures fast, trusted matches based on location and trust, offering a smooth and efficient experience for both parties.
The Challenges
MATCHING BABYSITTERS AND PARENTS ONLINE IS A COMPLEX TASK. MANY FACTORS MUST BE TAKEN INTO ACCOUNT:
1.
Lack of prior acquaintance can raise concerns about safety, trust, and compatibility
2.
Availability and timing can be an issue, especially when a sitter is needed on short notice
3.
Differing expectations around duties, communication, and payment can lead to mismatches
